Hi everyone...its me Julie. I know its been awhile since we have featured one of our precious orphans we sponsor thru www.beautifulfeet.org Today we like to introduce to a bubbly 9 year old named 'Genette'
. Yesterday, Sharon and I met at her fabulous shop 104 S. Main Antiques in Dickson to start painting up a storm! We had a custom piece to do and while we were waiting for it to dry we thought..lets find another piece to do while we still had the paint out. So thru the shop we went.. and then we spotted her..."Genette"
In real life Genette is an adorable 9 year old cutie pie, full of life and energy...Our Genette was a little pitifull, plain and in desperate need of a makeover...come to think of it, thats the way I feel most days :) So we had our fabulous CeCe Caldwells 'Young Kansas Wheat and Vintage White' and got to work. I tend to go super shabby and distressed, so I asked Sharon "can I GO for it"? She wholeheartedly agreed...so off we went!! The absolutely favorite thing for me about these paints is the distressability (if thats a word). we just take a damp textured cloth like a bar towel and lightly go where we want and how much distressing we want...LOVE! OK...so on to the reveal...TaDa...
We hope you've enjoyed 'Genette's' makeover!! Sharon and I would love for you to consider sponsoring Genette or any of the other beautiful orphans. Any amount is appreciated...seriously anything. To find out more information on this wonderful charity please go to www.beautifulfeet.org
Thanks so much and "stay shabby"!
