finished this piece today & am totally in love...
Beatrice
don't you just love her too?
here's what she looked like before
she's solid, has nice curves & i loved the hardware on her
definite possibilities
annie sloan chalk paint 'graphite' on the top & 'country grey' on the base
more distressing than i normally do
i'm usually more vintage & julie is the shabby one, that's one of the reason's we work so well together
(& in case you're wondering, julie is perfectly happy being called the shabby one)
but 'beatrice' was just shabby all the way, there was no other way for her to look
finished with some clear wax & i was in love!
she will be a hard one to let go... sigh...
thank you so much for stopping by,

ooh i love it! i also love that name, too.... classic! the dark top is gorgeous!
