Music to my "eyes"

Yes, you read it right.  Music to my eyes.  I don't know about you...but I love vintage sheet music.  Every time I see it I just go "AWWWW".  Love it.

The sight of it brings me back to a time long ago, when I was growing up in northern Wisconsin.  My best friend, Julie R. had a piano..piano lessons...and sheet music!  I was so jealous watching her flip thru those wonderful worn sheets as she gracefully played the notes on them.  They only thing I could play then and now, is chopstix.

I wonder where that sheet music ended up after all these year?  So... awhile ago, Sharon picked up this old harp coffee table at a yard sale
I knew the minute I saw the table it HAD to have sheet music on it.  I even imagined the sheet music I used may have been Julie R.'s.  nothing wrong with hoping right?  First I mod podged the sheet music helter skelter on the top.  Then it was painted with Annie Sloan Country Gray chalk paint.  I finished the trim in black so the sheet music would pop!  Distressed and waxed and ready to go.  This will soon be heading off to one of our booths and hopefully be music to someone else's eyes!
hope you have a blessed day and stay shabby!!
Julie
